Analysis

You get what you work for, not what you wish for

What to find on this page

On this page you can find my analysis. On the page imagery, you may have found some other analysis, however those were related to one specific topic. The ones that can be found on this page, have not got one general theme. It could be about myself, about a poem, it could actually be anything. I hope to give you a pleasures time on this page as well.

Description of myself: perspective

Before I give my analysis based on myself. I chose a perspective as the topic to base myself on. This will make the analysis being in a theme of how I see things and how others can see stuff in different ways.

Liza Saaed, that’s me. I am not sure how to describe myself, since I have a lot of sides, however this analysis will only be based on my view of writing and even life.

To start of with writing. It could be seen as an easy topic, since it is about what you think and how you imagine things. On the page imagery you may have seen some of my thoughts. However, those were not completely mine. I had some help from my peers, we call it teamwork. We observed a photo and thought about it on our own at first, however when discussing what we thought, I realised that we had a completely different imagination. I would be amazed with the stuff they come up with, sometimes I even thought why would you even think about that, it was a deep thoughtful idea. I sometimes disagreed and thought their idea wasn’t as great, but that is fine since they will think the same about mine. However, when writing it for our final assignment I could not include loads of stuff which were mine, since we worked together.

Working together with my peers, makes me see that the photo cannot be seen from only one perspective. There are many and many views to look at a photo. I believe every individual will believe something totally different. But this isn’t in a negative way, because this makes me see that other people’s ideas are not the same and that could be great. I can be amazed with what they think.

To conclude, teamwork makes me develop my point view. My view will always be in my opinion the best since it is my imagination, however someone else may think the opposite and believes their imagination is the best. I discovered that with these assignments listening to each other is the best way to create the most creative story based on a photo, a story or anything and that is something I really enjoyed.

Take a deep breath, and just enjoy your life.

I am what I am: metaphors

I am what I am is a poem based on me. In that poem I have used metaphors to describe myself. My peers continued writing about me and still kept on using metaphors. I cooperated with Tim Gomes and Milena Pawulski.

My poem: I am what I am. I am a dolphin that races through the ocean. I am the badger fighting against the eagle. I am the phoebe in the squad, the phoebe a friend needs.

Tim’s poem: She is what she is. She is like a fish in the water, like a frog jumping from this lake to that one. She is there when you need her. No one is more devoted than she is. She is the yellow hat covering the scar.

Milena’s poem: She is what she is. She always feels like she belongs where ever she is. She is open-minded, though slightly all over the place, but right there when you need advice or help. She is ambitious, on the maximum level. She helps to cover up past mistakes. XOXO GG ( Janice )

Analysis based on the poems: creativity

This was one of those assignments which was fun to do and creative and imagination helped you out here. At first I was thinking to hard to come up with metaphors describing myself, however after so time I got into it and started getting ideas. Not only for my own poem, but also for the ones I wrote for Tim and Milena.

Every time I had a English class I was looking forward to it since I knew we were going to do this. It seems hard at first, but when thinking more easily the ideas will flow into your mind. I got some creative sentences. This assignment helped me getting better at creating poems in a short amount of time.

It was amazing to see how someone can write a whole new poem based on the previous one.. I started it, Tim continued it and Milena finished it. However, we could have continued for ages, who knows what the last poem ended with.

This assignment showed me that I do have some creativity in the form of writing. I can write great metaphors and that helped me believe it as well. From now on when I start writing I know I can succeed, just because of this one and only assignment.

Second poem’s imagination: visuals

Third poem’s imagination: visuals
